Leadership is expressed through decisions, conversations and the atmosphere we create around other people. Before any of those can change, we need to notice what is already happening.
Self-awareness helps us see the assumptions behind a quick decision, the pattern inside a difficult conversation, or the cost of a strength used too often.
Awareness is not the destination. It is the moment in which a different response becomes possible.
